Xtreme 160R 2v: Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 Xtreme 160R (2024 Extreme 160R) motorcycle in the Indian market. The company has included some new features in the new year model. However, there has been no change in its specifications and the look and design are mostly the same.
The Xtreme 160R 2V will be available only with a single disc variant in Stealth Black color. The company has fixed its price at Rs 1,11,111 ex-showroom. Here we are telling you important things about the 2024 Xtreme 160R motorcycle.
This feature was found for the first time
In the 2024 Xtreme 160R model, Hero MotoCorp has added a drag race timer to the instrument cluster, which is given for the first time in this segment. The seat has been updated to make it more comfortable for the pillion. The improved position and rear grip span are the largest in the segment and the seat height has also been reduced. At the rear, there is a new tail lamp with an “H” mark that represents the new-age Hero lineup.
Engine Power and Gearbox
Hero MotoCorp has not made any mechanical changes to the Xtreme 160R. It continues to come with the same 163.2 cc air-cooled engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 14.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 14 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine gets a 5-speed gearbox.
How are the features
The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R comes with an inverted LCD console with adjustable brightness. It has a wider rear tyre, a single channel ABS and all-LED lighting. There is also Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charger for charging mobile devices.
Braking and Suspension
Hero MotoCorp uses a tubular underbone diamond type frame in this bike. Talking about the suspension, it has 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. For braking, 276 mm petal disc brakes have been provided at the front and 220 mm petal disc brakes at the rear.
