Honda Amaze Facelift: To make a splash in the compact sedan segment, Honda has launched a new avatar of its popular car Amaze! The new Honda Amaze facelift is available at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹ 8 lakh, which goes up to ₹ 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The biggest feature of this new model is the segment-first ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) – Honda Sensing, which makes it even more safe and modern. Let’s take a look at the features, design, engine, and other features of this cool sedan.

Powerful engine and performance

In the new Honda Amaze, you will get the same trusted 1,200 cc, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates 89 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of peak torque at 4,800 rpm.

The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission option. It also has a new fuel injection-ECU system, which connects the engine to other systems of the car and effectively controls the Honda Sensing technology. All this together makes driving even safer, more fun, and more convenient.

The mileage is also great

Honda Amaze does not disappoint in terms of mileage as well. The company claims that with CVT transmission it gives a mileage of 19.46 km, while with manual transmission it gives a mileage of 18.65 km.

New and attractive design

The new Honda Amaze has been given a new design, whose front resembles the recently launched Honda SUV, Elevate. The front bumper is bold and square in shape and has LED projector fog lamps.

The headlamps have LED bi-projector lenses, with a chrome garnish in between just like the Honda Elevate. The newly designed grille has an overall hexagonal shape and Honda’s logo in the middle. The large ORVMs also seem to be taken from the Elevate.

Great combination of features and safety

Talking about features, the new Amaze now gets a floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. This unit is also seen in the V and VX variants of the Honda Elevate SUV.

The sedan now also features the Honda Sensing ADAS suite seen in the Honda City and Honda Elevate. This makes the 2024 Amaze the first compact sedan in the segment to feature safety features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane keep assist.

Like other models of Honda Cars India, the ADAS system on the Amaze will also be camera-based. 6 airbags have been included as standard in all variants.

Who is the competitor

With its modern features, the new Amaze is set to give tough competition to other cars in the segment. This compact sedan will compete with the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire in the Indian market.
