Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has ushered in a new era of mobility in the electric vehicle segment with the launch of ‘Activa e:’ and ‘QC1’. HMSI’s first EV was inaugurated in Bengaluru, Karnataka. At the same time, delivery will start from February 2025.

On this occasion, the company’s Managing Director, President and CEO Sutsumu Otani said that today is a very special day as HMSI has entered the electric mobility space. This is a significant moment in Honda’s journey of electrification and with every step, we will continue to focus on building a safer and more sustainable future while meeting the changing needs of the society.

Details of Honda Activa e-scooter

Honda has launched its Activa e-electric scooter. Both these batteries claim to give a range of 102 km on a full charge. These batteries power a 6kW fixed magnet synchronous electric motor, which generates a peak torque of 22Nm.

It includes three riding modes Econ, Standard, and Sport. Its top speed is 80 km/h. At the same time, it can catch a speed of 0 to 60 Km/h in 7.3 seconds. It has a 7-inch TFT screen. The screen supports navigation.

Details of Honda QC1 scooter

The company has also launched the QC1 electric scooter. It will give a range of 80 km on a single charge. This electric scooter is offered with a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack.

It has a 7.0-inch TFT screen that gives real-time connectivity with the Honda Road Sync Duo app. This electric scooter comes with a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack. Its power output is 1.2 kW (1.6 bhp) and 1.8 kW (2.4 bhp). The electric scooter gets full charge takes 6 hours.
