Honda NPF 125: Honda Scooters and Motorcycles, a prominent Japanese automobile manufacturer, has secured a patent for the NPF 125 scooter aimed at the Indian market. However, the official launch date has yet to be announced. The company is actively working to broaden its product range in an effort to surpass Hero MotoCorp. Should the NPF 125 be introduced in India, it will face competition from models such as the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Fascino, and Hero Zoom 125.

Featuring an aggressive front design characterized

This new model significantly differs from the widely recognized Honda Activa, featuring an aggressive front design characterized by a dual headlamp arrangement and robust body paneling. Notable design elements include projector-style turn signal housings, a single-piece seat, a slightly elevated exhaust, and H-shaped taillights.

14.3 liters of under-seat storage

The scooter is equipped with a spacious flat floorboard, allowing for increased luggage capacity, and offers 14.3 liters of underseat storage. Additionally, it includes compartments for a water bottle and a smartphone, with the option to enhance storage further by adding a top box. The rider’s seat is designed for comfort, and the scooter features a sturdy grab rail extending towards the rear.

Powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine

The NPF 125 is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9.51 ps of power and 10 Nm of torque, with an expected fuel efficiency of approximately 50 km/l. The scooter can reach a top speed of 90 km/h and is equipped with features such as a side stand engine cut-off, a 15-watt Type-C charger at the front, a smart key for saddle unlocking, an advanced suspension system, and ESP technology. The anticipated ex-showroom price is estimated to be around Rs 90,000.
