Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Maruti Suzuki India is set to introduce its inaugural electric vehicle, the E-Vitara, in March 2025. The company has released details regarding its design and interior features, with additional information emerging ahead of the launch. Recently, Maruti has disclosed further specifications concerning this electric vehicle, including its color options and safety features. In anticipation of competition from major rivals such as Tata Curve EV and Mahindra BE 6 in the electric vehicle market, Maruti will provide a variety of color choices.
Features
The E-Vitara will be equipped with LED headlights, daytime running lights, and tail lights, along with 18-inch wheels, active air vents on the grille, a panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient interior lighting, a wireless charger, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an Infinity by Harman audio system, in-car connectivity technology, single-zone automatic climate control, a PM 2.5 air filter, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and reclining, sliding, and split (60:40) rear seats. Additionally, it will feature various driving modes, including Eco, Normal, Sport, snow mode, one-pedal driving, and regenerative braking.
Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
Regarding safety, the Maruti E-Vitara will incorporate a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, which encompasses features such as lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. Furthermore, it will be equipped with seven airbags, a blind-spot monitor, a tire pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, rear disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function, and an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) for pedestrian safety.
Ten exterior color options
Maruti Suzuki will provide the E-Vitara in ten exterior color options, comprising six monotone and four dual-tone variants. The six single-tone colors will include Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, and Opulent Red. The dual-tone options will feature a black roof along with contrasting colors such as Arctic White, Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver, and Opulent Red for the A-pillar and B-pillar.
