The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 has a 124.7cc single cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The powerplant is capable of delivering a maximum power of 14.5 PS at 9,250 rpm along with a top torque of 12 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The well-refined and smooth power output makes it quite suitable for urban commutes and occasional highway stints as well. For such rides, the 6-speed transmission perfectly complements it as it would help in fitting it with a wet multi-disc clutch to enable smoother gear shifts and much better control in almost all kinds of terrains.

Built off of a split trellis frame, the Svartpilen 125 rides like a sports naked bike.
