Hyundai India has started booking the electric version of Creta. If you want to buy a Creta EV, you can do so both online and offline. At present, booking of the base model executive trim has not started. The Hyundai Creta EV premium hatch bag will be priced at the Rs 25,000. It will be launched at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 starting from January 17.

The Hyundai Creta EV is based on the current fuel-powered Creta. Its exterior design is very similar to that of the compact SUV Creta. The bumper has been changed, while the alloy wheels get an aerodynamic design.

Hyundai Creta EV Features

In terms of interior features, the new Creta EV has a steering wheel like the Kona EV. Like the Ioniq 5, it has drive mode selectors (Eco, Normal, and Sport). In the electric version, features like a 10.25-inch screen for instruments and infotainment, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and ADAS have been borrowed from Creta.

Hyundai Creta EV Battery and Range

Hyundai Creta EV has been introduced with two battery pack options, which include 51.3kWh and 42kWh battery packs. The 51.3kWh battery pack version will travel 473 km once fully charged. Hyundai Creta EV with 42kWh battery pack will give a range of 390 km on a single charge.

Creta EV can be easily booked from Hyundai’s official website and dealership. To book Creta EV, a token amount of Rs 25,000 will have to be paid.

Hyundai Creta EV Performance

The Creta EV (51.3kWh) can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 58 minutes using a 60kW DC fast charger. The electric SUV can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 4 hours using an AC wall box unit.

The Creta EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.9 seconds. In India, the Creta EV will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, Maruti e Vitara, and Mahindra BE 6.
