Hyundai Inster Cross EV: Numerous companies are unveiling their vehicles at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. Hyundai India made a significant impact by introducing the Creta Electric on the event’s inaugural day. Meanwhile, Hyundai UK has disclosed the pricing and specifications for the Inster Cross EV.
SUV-like design within a compact framework
Production of the Inster Cross is currently underway at the company’s manufacturing facility in Korea. A notable feature of the Inster is its SUV-like design within a compact framework. The Inster Cross will feature broad, rectangular front and rear bumpers, along with elevated black cladding. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with front and rear skid plates and 17-inch alloy wheels, enhancing its protection on rugged terrains compared to the standard Inster.
Engine, mileage and features
This crossover variant will be available in a distinctive new shade of green. The Inster is powered by a 49kWh battery, which drives an electric motor generating 115bhp and 147Nm of torque. Hyundai asserts that the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds, with a maximum speed of approximately 150 km/h. The company claims that the Inster offers a range of about 360 km on a full charge.
Hyundai is also providing an ADAS package that includes features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and avoidance assist. The new color and trim combination will feature grey cloth with lime-yellow accents, complemented by lime-yellow details on the dashboard. Similar to the base model, the Inster Cross will include numerous features typically found in higher-end vehicles.
Price
The on-road price for the 49kWh battery pack variant of the Inster Cross is estimated to be around Rs 30.53 lakh.
