Royal Enfield has finally introduced its most awaited motorcycle Interceptor Bear 650. This motorcycle is based on the Interceptor 650 platform, but many changes have been made to it apart from the scrambler nature.
In terms of styling, the Bear 650 looks much more appealing and cool than the Interceptor. The credit for this goes to the paint scheme and tires as well as the exhaust system. The scrambler-style seat and number board on the side panel enhance its total look.
New look, new features
The motorcycle has full LED lights. The size of the wheels has been changed. These spoke wheels are fitted with new MRF Nylorex off-road tires. However, tubeless spoke wheels are not provided in it.
The Bear 650 has shotgun-like Showa USD forks, but the internal parts are quite different. The total suspension travel is more than the Interceptor. Due to this its seat height has increased.
Powerful engine and attractive design
The rest of the motorcycle parts like brakes have been taken from Interceptor, but the size of the front brake disc is larger. It gets dual-channel ABS as standard. At the same time, the rear ABS can be turned off for off-road use.
This scrambler also has a full-color TFT screen with an inbuilt navigation system. Bear 650 has the same 650cc parallel-twin engine, which gives a maximum power of 47bhp and torque of 57Nm. This is about 5Nm more than Interceptor 650.
When will it be launched, what will be the price
It has a new two-into-two exhaust system, which has reduced the weight slightly. Interceptor Bear 650 will be available in a total of 5 color options. The price of each of these colors will be different, out of which the price of each color will be different. Royal Enfield will launch this bike on November 5. Only then its prices will be revealed. This motorcycle has no direct rival in the Indian market.
