Kabira KM3000: The second-generation KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II electric motorcycles are now available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.74 lakh.

The KM3000 and KM4000 models have different designs. Apart from cosmetic changes, both have the same diamond steel tube frame. Let’s learn about them.

Kabira KM3000 Powertrain

The models feature an aluminium core hub motor powertrain. According to the company, this technology enables the bikes to achieve a top speed of 120 mph and accelerate from 0 to 40 mph in just 2.9 seconds.

Kabira KM3000 Charging and range

The key features of the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models include a range of 201 km and a 1.5kW onboard charger. Powered by a 12 kW in-hub powertrain developed by Foxconn, the bike offers a claimed maximum torque of 192 Nm. Safety features include dual CBS and larger disc brakes, front telescopic forks by Showa, and a mono-shock unit at the rear.

Kabira KM3000 Price

The KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models are priced at Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. Rides for these models will be available at selected locations.

Kabira KM3000 Riding Modes

Both bikes feature projector headlights for better night riding and a stylish frunk for extra space. Five riding modes, Eco, Sports, City, Parking, and Reverse, are also available for the rider’s convenience.

KM3000 and KM4000: Design and Hardware

The KM3000 is a fully fired motorcycle, while the KM4000 is a street-naked motorcycle. Both rest on the same diamond steel tube frame, while the swingarm is made of steel or aluminium alloy, depending on the motorcycle’s sub-variant.

Both motorcycles have Showa-manufactured telescopic forks, a mono-shock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends, 17-inch wheels, a combined braking system, and a modular battery pack with an onboard charger.

KM3000 and KM4000: Battery Pack, Riding Range, and Speed

Talking about the battery pack, the motorcycles are equipped with 4.1kWh and 5.15kWh battery packs, depending on the variant. The KM3000 and KM4000 range 178 km or 201 km, depending on the variant. Both models have a top speed of 120 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 mph in 2.9 seconds with a claimed torque of 192 Nm.
