2024 Kawasaki Z900: Kawasaki has launched the updated Z900 in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.29 lakh. There is no change in this bike compared to the 2023 model, although its price has now increased by Rs 9,000.

Talking about features, then the color TFT dash of the Kawasaki Z900 can be connected to your smartphone via the ‘Rideology’ app and can be used to receive notifications and navigation alerts. Two power modes, three riding modes and three levels of traction control, along with non-switchable, dual-channel ABS make it an electronics suite.

Talking about specification, then the four-cylinder powertrain is fitted in a steel trellis frame, and suspension is handled by USD front forks and a monoshock rear unit, both of which are used for preload and rebound. Braking is handled by twin 300mm discs at the front, while the rear gets a single 250mm disc unit.
2024 Kawasaki Z900 Engine
Talking about engine, then the Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 948cc, inline-four cylinder engine unit that produces 125hp at 9,500rpm and 98.6Nm of torque at 7,700rpm. This smooth engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slip clutch.

Talking about price, then it is priced at Rs 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kawasaki Z900 competes with the Triumph Street Triple R (Rs 10.17 lakh). The Kawasaki is priced at Rs 12.72 lakh on-road in Mumbai, while the lighter and more mobility-enabled Street Triple R is priced at Rs 12.36 lakh. This is because the Kawasaki, which is almost 1000cc, falls in a different tax bracket than the 765cc Triumph.
