Kia Motors, which is rapidly expanding its foothold in the electric segment, may soon launch its first 3 row SUV car in India. Based on the information received, the Kia EV9 can be introduced in India on 3 October.
The upcoming EV9 to be launched by the South Korean carmaker in the Indian auto market will be a GT-Line all-wheel-drive (AWD) model with many features like different bumpers, 21-inch wheels and GT-Line badging at the rear.
EV9 GT-EV Features
According to the information related to the upcoming EV9 GT EV, it is equipped with features like all electric seats, lounge function for the second row, multi-zone climate control and ventilated seats for the second row, 360-degree camera, level-2 ADAS, auto parking, connected car technology, power boot opening and all-LED lighting.
In the global market, the EV9 GT-Line AWD is sold in 6 and 7-seater layouts, while in India, only the 6-seater model is expected to be launched initially.
EV9 GT-EV Battery Pack
The battery of the EV9 GT-Line can be charged from 10-80 percent in just 24 minutes using a 350kWh charger. The EV9 GT-Line is offered globally with a dual-motor and 99.9kWh battery pack.
Which claims to give a range of 445 km. The maximum speed of this electric car is 200 kmph and it takes just 5.3 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kmph.
EV9 GT-EV Price
The price of the EV9 GT-EV, which is preparing to be launched in the Indian market, has not been officially revealed yet, but based on speculations, it is expected to be Rs 90 lakh to Rs 1.2 crore ex-showroom.
This will be the most expensive Kia EV car in its range, which can be purchased with almost every option of the car.
