Prices announced in February
This is a sub-4-meter compact SUV that will be fully launched in February 2025. Its prices will be revealed on February 3, and delivery will also start in February. Its design is completely different from the current model. This is the company’s seventh model in the Indian market. The company’s portfolio already includes Sonet, Seltos, Cassese, Carnival, EV6, and EV9.
Multi-engine options will be available
The Kia Syros SUV has a 1-liter Turbo Petrol Smart stream engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT transmission. The diesel variant will be given a 1.5-liter diesel engine that powers the Sonet, Seltos, and Kia Carens. The diesel in Siros produces a maximum power of 116 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm.
Will be equipped with a luxury interior
This new SUV has been made more spacious. It has reclining rear seats. Talking about its features, it has LED lights, LED DRLs, a panoramic sunroof, LED tail lights, ambient lights, a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, terrain and driving modes, best ventilated seats, wireless charger, and the Harman Kardon audio system.
Level-2 ADAS for safety
For safety, this SUV has great features like Level-2 ADAS, 6 airbags standard, ABS, EBD, and Isofix child anchorage. The Kia Siros is positioned between the Seltos and the Sonet. There is no other SUV in the company’s portfolio between them right now. According to the report, the ex-showroom price of its base turbo trim can be Rs 9.50 lakh, which can go up to Rs 15 lakh for the top variant.
