Kia India’s new SUV Kia Syros has entered the market. This Kia car is based on its popular model Kia Sonet. Still, it is quite different in terms of design and features. That’s why this car is going to fit between Sonet and Kia Seltos in Kia’s lineup. In such a situation, it remains to be seen whether it will be able to compete with Hyundai Creta or Mahindra XUV 3X0 in the market.

Design of Kia Syros

Kia Syros is unique in terms of design. Its inspiration is taken from the recently launched Kia electric car EV9. While it has a skid plate and Clamshell bonnet in the front. On the back side, its look looks quite similar to WagonR. It has L-shaped tail lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels also come in it. While the span of its window gives it the most unique look. In this way, the overall look becomes unique.

The wheelbase, ground clearance, and height of both cars are quite the same. Syros is better in just one case, that is the boot space of the car. In Syros it is 465 liters, while in 3XO it is 364 liters. Its boot space is also increased from Creta, which comes with a boot space of 433 liters.

The petrol engine generates 115 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. The diesel variant generates 113 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque.

For power transmission, it has 6 speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox options. While the base model of the Mahindra XUV 3XO comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine. It generates 110 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque.

The starting price of the Hyundai Creta is more than Rs 10 lakh. In this way, this car can offer many different features to people in its segment.

Advanced ADAS will be available in Kia Syros

In such a situation, in terms of design and look, Mahindra’s car gives a better on-road presence. On the other hand, the Kia Syros comes with many advanced features.
