Lamborghini Urus SE: Lamborghini Urus SE has been launched in India. The Urus SE has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.57 crore. The Lamborghini Urus SE was first launched in the US at the Lamborghini Lounge, NYC. This performance SUV is the successor to the Urus.
Design and Engine
Apart from fitting an updated powertrain under the hood, Lamborghini has also updated the Urus SE with some design tweaks. However, the silhouette of the SUV remains similar to the Lamborghini Urus lineup.
The SE has a slightly longer bonnet, while the headlamp unit has been slimmed down. It is equipped with Matrix LED technology with wraparound DRLs. There are new character lines on the bonnet, with which Lamborghini claims that both aerodynamics and cooling efficiency have been improved. The Urus SE has an updated front bumper, grille and rear diffusor. It has sharp visuals and has a new tail-lamp grille.
Interior and Features
Some minor changes have been made inside the SE as well. The Urus SE cabin has newly designed AC vents, updated materials, new panel and dashboard covering. Apart from this, the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the new Lamborghini Revuelto has been used, which has a more responsive UI and has a dedicated telemetry system.
Engine and Performance
The Lamborghini Urus SE is powered by a 3996 cc twin-turbo V8 engine with a plug-in-hybrid system. It uses a 25.9 kWh battery pack, which is paired to an 8-speed torque converter. The powertrain produces 778 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. Moreover, the Italian manufacturer claims that the Urus SE now has a better power-to-weight ratio of 3.13 kg/CV, while the Urus S has 3.3 kg/CV.
The Urus SE has a rev-limiter of 6,800 rpm and sends its power to all four wheels via an integrated differential at the front, a hang-on differential in the middle and an electronic self-locking differential with torque vectoring at the rear.
Lamborghini claims that the Urus SE will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and will have a top speed of 312 km/h.
