Thar is one of the legendary cars on Indian road, which people buy for their status symbol. Last year Mahindra had launched its new variant, known as Thar Rox. Now on the occasion of Dussehra, the company has started to home deliver it.
After the company started taking applications for pre-booking, a record 1 lakh 76 thousand booked their Mahindra Thar in the first hour of its launch. People are going crazy to buy it, with this response now the company has decided to increase its production. According to some sources, the company aims for the production of Thar Rox at 7500 units per day.
Some people are saying after seeing the response for the car that the waiting period for this car will be around 12 months.
Price and feature
Talking about the price, the starting ex showroom price of its base model variant is 12.99 lakh and for its diesel variant it will be 13.99 lakh. Even its base model MXI trip has some brilliant features like 18 inch full alloy wheel, led panel, led headlight. Even the base model of Thar will be a great off road vehicle.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in six broad variants: MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L and AX7L. As for colors, you get seven shades to choose from: Stealth Black, Deep Forest Black, Tango Red, Everest White, Nebula Blue, Battleship Grey and Burnt Sienna (Brown). Do note that all the options are paired with a black roof.
At first glance, the Thar Roxx may look like its 3-door sibling, but it has its own unique style. It keeps the classic boxy shape and features C-shaped LED DRLs with LED headlights, along with a new 6-slat grille. On the sides, besides the extra set of doors, the dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels instantly catch your attention. The rear profile gets slightly tweaked LED taillights, and a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, like the 3-door version.
