According to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), the electric vehicle offers a range between 375 km and 456 km. A closer look at its safety ratings reveals that the XUV 400 scored 30.38 out of 32 points for adult safety and 43 out of 49 points for child safety, a rating that applies across all variants of the model.
Advanced features of this car
However, certain features that enhance crash test performance, such as front side thorax and curtain airbags, are not standard across all variants. The XUV 400 is equipped with essential safety features, including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), all-disc brakes, front seat belt pretensioners, and an impact sensing auto door unlock system.

The top variant of the XUV 400 also includes additional safety enhancements such as dual front side thorax airbags, dual curtain airbags, hill start assist (HSA), front fog lamps, halogen projector headlamps, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a rear camera, rear defogger, and a rear washer wiper.
