Mahindra XUV700: XUV700 is working as a hot cake for Mahindra. The demand for this SUV is so high that people have to wait for a year for delivery. The company launched it on 14 August 2021. That is, it has completed a journey of 3 years.

During these 3 years, it has also set many sales records in the domestic market. It has also set a new milestone with sales of 2 lakh units. The company has sold 1,96,971 units of XUV700 till the end of August 2024, including 24,839 units in the first 4 months of financial year 2025. Its ex-showroom prices are Rs 13.99 to 25.14 lakh.

The special thing is that the diesel XUV700 is in the highest demand. According to company data, out of 24,839 units sold in the August 2024 period, the diesel variant accounted for 18,431 units or 74 percent.

This was its best financial year so far. In the last financial year. it ranked second among 11 executive midsize SUVs, behind Mahindra’s leader Scorpio (1,41,462 units). In fact, XUV700 sales account for 27 per cent of Mahindra’s total FY24 sales.

So far in the financial year, Mahindra is ranked fourth in terms of model-wise sales with the XUV700 selling 24,839 units.

The Scorpio twins lead the way with 53,068 units sold. followed by the XUV300/3XO with 32,501 units and the Bolero with 31,858 units sold.

With the festive season starting soon. the XUV700 is expected to gain a strong foothold in the market.

Mahindra XUV700 prices and variants

The Mahindra XUV700 can be purchased in 5 and 7 seater configurations. It also gets multiple powertrain options. It comes in a total of 44 variants. This includes 19 petrol and 25 diesel.

The petrol XUV700 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged mStallion engine that produces 200hp and 380Nm of torque.

and comes mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic. The diesel XUV700 is available with two different tunes for the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It has received a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP.
