while the diesel engine gives a power of 182 bhp and a torque of 420 Nm (manual transmission) or 450 Nm (automatic transmission). The diesel engine on the MX trim has been detuned and produces 152 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. However, the Black Edition will not be available in the MX trim.

What will be special in Black Edition

The XUV700 Black Edition will mainly have cosmetic changes. Its exterior will be completely finished in black, with dark chrome being used on the grille and window belt lining. The alloy wheels will also be finished in black, which will further enhance its aggressive look.

The black theme has been continued in the interior as well. Leatherette seats, black headliner and stitching as well as smoked chrome surround will also be provided. All these changes were also seen in the recently launched Scorpio N Carbon Edition, and now they have been included in the XUV700 as well.
