The Indo-Japanese automaker’s new car Maruti Dzire facelift has made a splash in the market with Global NCAP ratings. It has a great design, an upmarket interior with features like a sunroof, and a new Z-series petrol engine. The new Maruti Dzire is getting bookings continuously.
It is getting an average of around 1,000 bookings per day. The carmaker has revealed that the compact sedan has received 30,000 bookings so far and 5,000 units have already been handed over to buyers so far. Due to bumper demand, its waiting period is constantly increasing, so if you want to buy it, then quickly know its details.
Variant-wise waiting period
Interestingly, the top-spec ZXi and ZXi+ variants (both manual and AMT) are in high demand, accounting for more than 50 percent of the total bookings. The manual variants of both these trims have a waiting period of around two months, while the AMT variants have a waiting period of less than three months.
The Maruti Dzire CNG will be delivered about three months after booking. However, the less in-demand LXi and VXi variants will be delivered within a few weeks of booking.
Safety Features
The compact sedan scored 5 stars in adult occupant protection and 4 stars in child occupant protection. Safety features such as 6 airbags, an electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, reverse parking sensors, three-point seat belts with reminders for all seats. The top-end ZXi and ZXi+ trims are exclusively offered with a reverse parking camera, tire pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree camera.
New Amaze comes to compete with Dzire
Recently, Maruti Dzire’s rival Honda Amaze has entered the country with a new generation. The compact sedan is equipped with the Honda Sensing ADAS suite, which is not available in the new Dzire. However, the new Amaze has features like a sunroof, 360-degree camera, and TPMS, which are available with the Dzire.
