Maruti Fronx Hybrid: Maruti Suzuki already offers hybrid options with its cars like Grand Vitara and Invicto. Toyota supplies this technology to Maruti. At the same time, now Suzuki itself is working on creating a strong hybrid system. The effect of this can be seen in almost all their vehicles in the future. It can start with Maruti Fronx including Swift. Recently Maruti Fronx has been spotted during testing with a hybrid badge. Let’s know what new has been seen in its testing model.

What was seen in the testing model

According to a report, Maruti Fronx Hybrid has been spotted during testing (Fronx Hybrid testing) in Gurugram, Haryana. In its rear, ‘Fronx’ badging has been seen on the right above the ‘Hybrid’ badge. The rear badge of ‘Fronx’ is given on its left side. The hybrid setup that Maruti Suzuki is developing can be combined with the new Z12E engine. This engine has already been given with the new Swift.

Maruti’s strong hybrid system can be different from existing models like Grand Vitara and Invicto. It will be a range extender system, which will use the petrol powertrain to recharge the battery pack. The wheels will get power from the electric motor instead of the petrol engine. This strong hybrid system can also be introduced in new models like Next-Gen Baleno.

Benefits of adding hybrid setup

After adding a hybrid setup to Maruti Fronx, the wheels will get power from the electric motor instead of the petrol engine. This petrol powertrain works as a generator to recharge the battery pack. Because of this, it will give more mileage as well as better fuel efficiency than before (Maruti Hybrid car).

It is expected that after adding Maruti Fronx Hybrid, it will give a mileage of more than 30 km in one liter of petrol (Maruti Fronx Hybrid mileage). Currently, it comes with a 1.2-liter K-series engine that generates 89.73 PS power and 113 Nm torque. This engine gives a mileage of up to 21.79 kmpl with manual and 22.89 kmpl with AMT.
