Maruti Fronx: The India-made Maruti Fronx is going back to Suzuki of Japan. Yes, because the Indo-Japanese automaker has shipped the cars made at its Gujarat plant to be sold in the domestic market. India is the hub for the global Fronx. The car is made for both RHD and LHD markets. Also, the domestic demand has been quite stable ever since the car was launched in the first quarter of FY24. Talking about engine, then the same engine that is capable of generating 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque with cars like the Ertiga and Brezza in India. We get this engine in India with a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter AT, while Japan only gets the latter version.

Apart from this, the Japanese market gets the option of FWD or AWD. The major difference is a 1.5-litre petrol engine instead of the 1.2 and 1.0-litre turbo that is offered in India.
