The company will showcase this magnificent vehicle at the Auto Expo 2025.
Long-range and superfast charging
Commonly known as G-Wagon, this car is officially named Mercedes-Benz G 580. Its electric version has a powerful 116 kWh battery pack, which the company claims to offer an impressive range of 473 km on a single full charge. What’s more, with the help of a fast charger, this car gets charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 32 minutes.
Modern technology and comfortable interior
This electric SUV has Mercedes’ state-of-the-art MBUX multimedia system, which comes with a gorgeous 12.3-inch touchscreen. It also gets ample boot space of 555 liters, although it is slightly less than its petrol and diesel versions.
The company has not provided any boot space (frunk) in the front. Other comfort features of the car include rear AC vents, heating control, and cruise control.
Unmatched off-roading capability
The real identity of the G-Wagon is its unmatched off-roading capability, and the electric version is no less. The company has given it 850mm water wading depth, which enables it to move easily even in shallow water. This is 100mm more than the normal G-Wagon. The most popular feature of the Mercedes-Benz G 580, G-Turn, is also given in it, which can rotate the car 360 degrees in one place. Apart from this, features like G-steering and off-road crawl also further enhance its off-roading capabilities.
