Design and Look

A big change has been made in the look and design of the Blackstorm Edition. It has been designed in a completely blacked-out exterior and interior theme, which makes it more stylish and sporty. Red accents have also been given with this theme. This is the first time that MG Motors has introduced a Blackstorm edition for an electric car. Earlier, this edition was available only for the company’s petrol and diesel vehicles.

MG Comet Blackstorm Battery and Driving Range

Now talking about the powertrain and mechanical specifications of the MG Comet Blackstorm, no changes have been made to it. This car is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a 17.3 kWh capacity as before. According to the company’s claim, this electric car gives a driving range of up to 230 km on a single charge. The electric motor installed in it generates 42 horsepower (HP) of power and 110 Newton meters (Nm) of torque. This car is a great option for those who are looking for a compact and stylish electric car.

Easy To Charge Battery

MG Motors claims that charging the battery of this electric car is very easy. If a 3.3kW charger is used, it takes about 7 hours for the battery to charge from 0 to 100%. At the same time, if you want to charge quickly, the battery can be charged up to 80% in just 5 hours. Given the increasing availability of charging infrastructure, this car can become a convenient option for those who want a reliable electric vehicle for their daily commute.

Compared to the previous model, some special and advanced features have been added to this MG Comet Blackstorm edition, which makes it even more premium. This car has a dual 10.25-inch instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system.
