MG Motor India has unveiled the MG Cyberster, an electric two-seater roadster, through its new premium retail channel MG Select. Cyberster is a tribute to the iconic MG B Roadster of the 1960s. This car will make its market debut at the India Mobility Global Expo in January 2025.
The MG Cyberster is set to be the first vehicle in the MG Select lineup, with the company aiming to introduce four new energy vehicles over the next two years. MG Select will cater to the growing demand for “accessible luxury” by opening dedicated experience centres in 12 Indian cities.
A visionary design
The Cyberster has a futuristic silhouette with retro styling cues. Its low-slung profile, arrow-shaped taillights, and distinctive rear diffusor give it a bold look.
Equipped with luxurious and new technology
Inside the cabin, the Cyberster features a flat-bottom steering wheel equipped with multiple controls, three wrap-around digital displays, and a cascading waterfall-style center console. Physical buttons on the console control the roof system, drive options, and climate control.
0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds
It has a powerful dual-motor setup that powers all four wheels. The Cyberster is capable of generating 528bhp of power and 725nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds. It will offer a range of 570km with a 77kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
