MG S5 EV: Design

The MG S5 EV is built on the Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) of the MG4 hatchback. Its design is quite attractive, including split LED headlamps and a front bumper with two air inlets. The side profile features body-coloured ORVMs and roof rails, while the rear gets LED tail lamps and an LED bar.

MG S5 EV: Interior

The interior of the MG S5 EV will also be quite premium and tech-savvy. It will have a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, powered driver seat, level 2 ADAS technology, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents and a large touchscreen infotainment system. This system will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, many safety features will also be provided in the S5 EV, which will make it a great option in the segment.

MG S5 EV: Battery

The MG S5 EV will get a 62 kWh battery, which will be connected to a rear axle mounted electric motor. Its range is expected to be 500+ km, making it perfect for long distance travel. Now talking about its price, the price of MG S5 EV has not been announced yet, but it will compete with electric SUVs like Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti e-Vitara and Mahindra BE 6. Its launch price in India is expected to be between Rs 25-30 lakh.
