The company has just announced that this vehicle has crossed the production milestone of 15,000 units. MG Motor India launched it in October last year, and as soon as it was launched, it left Nexon behind in terms of sales. And this is not a matter of a month or two; this electric SUV has remained number 1 in the market for four months!

If Vahaan’s data is believed, more than 13,000 units of this car have been sold in just 4 months! This figure is impressive in the electric car segment. Every month, Windsor has sold more than 3000 units. Moreover, the electric crossover received over 15,176 bookings in the first 24 hours of its launch, the highest for any electric vehicle in India. MG says that the demand for the Windsor is still strong, with around 200 bookings being made daily.
Rent the battery, own the car!
Another unique thing about the MG Windsor EV is that you can rent its battery! The price of Windsor starts at Rs 14 lakh with the battery, but if you choose the ‘battery as a service’ option, you will get this car for just Rs 9.99 lakh. And the battery rent? Just Rs 3.9 per kilometre per month! Isn’t it a fantastic deal?
Is it number 1?
