MG ZS EV: A powerful car has been launched in India, whose running cost will be less than Rs 1 per kilometer. Times are changing in the auto segment. Now the coming time in India will be of high-tech battery cars. In such a situation, MG Motor India has launched the new ZS EV model in India. which is priced at Rs 20.99 lakh.
The updated version comes with the best-in-class 44.5 kWh high-tech battery and has a certified range of 419 km. Equipped with new 215/55 / R17 tires, this vehicle and battery-pack ground clearance have been increased to 177 mm and 205 mm respectively.
After expanding the charging ecosystem across the country with its partners, the ZS EV 2021 is now available for booking in 31 cities. The car was launched in January 2020 in 5 cities and cities were gradually added thereafter.
The MG ZS EV comes with 143 PS power and 350 Nm torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. and is available in two variants. Excite and Exclusive. As India’s first pure electric internet SUV, it adopts MG signature global design cues and comes equipped with features like panoramic sunroof, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and PM 2.5 filter among many others.
With the ZS EV, MG offers its customers a 5-way charging ecosystem that includes free-of-cost AC fast-chargers at home/office, portable in-car charging cables, DC superfast charging stations at dealerships, 24×7 charge-on-the-go (in 5 cities) and charging stations in satellite cities and tourist hubs.
The carmaker has also introduced the ‘Ecotree Challenge. wherein ZS EV owners can participate in ecological initiatives and track their CO2 savings and national ranking in real-time.
The MG ZS EV 2021 is covered under MG eShield, wherein the automaker offers a 5-year warranty for unlimited kilometres, 8 years/ 1.5 lakh km warranty on the battery pack system, 5 years of round-the-clock road assistance (RSA) and 5 labour-free services.
