Honda has launched a new bike in the Indian market. This is an updated model of the Honda SP 160, whose starting ex-showroom price is Rs 1.21 lakh. The latest sporty commuter bike comes in two variants – single disc and dual disc. By introducing this bike, Honda will try to strengthen its foothold in the 160cc segment. Bajaj Pulsar N160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 are two big competitor bikes in this segment.
The Japanese motorcycle company has also launched an updated model of the Honda SP 125 before the Honda SP 160. The same updates that were given in it will also be seen in SP 160. Honda’s new bike has a muscular fuel tank with sporty shrouds, which gives it a great look.
Honda SP 160: Four color options
Honda SP 160 has a more angular headlamp cluster than before, which has LED support. LED has also been given in the taillight of the bike. Apart from this, the Honda SP 160 will be available in four color options, which include Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Athletic Blue Metallic colors. Earlier there were only six color options.
Honda SP 160: New Features
The 2025 Honda SP 160 has a 4.2-inch TFT display instrument panel, which supports Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts.
Apart from this, a USB Type-C charging port and Honda RoadSync app are also included, which allows connecting the smartphone to the instrument panel. This gives the benefit of features like real-time turn-by-turn navigation and music playback.
Honda SP 160: Engine and Price
To meet the government emission norms, the SP 160 has an OBD2B-compliant single-cylinder engine, which comes with a power of 162.71cc. This bike will get a 5-speed gearbox. The ex-showroom price of the Honda SP 160 single-disc version is Rs 1.21 lakh, while the ex-showroom price of the dual-disc version is Rs 1.27 lakh. Now its base variant has become costlier by Rs 3,000 and the top model by Rs 4,605.
