Features and Specifications of New Maruti Eco

Talking about the dimensions of Maruti Eco, the length of Eco is 3,675mm, width 1,475mm and height 1,825mm. The height of the ambulance version is 1,930mm.

The company has replaced its old G12B petrol motor with a new K series 1.2-liter engine. The new Eco has been launched in 13 variants. Which includes 5-seater, 7-seater, cargo, tour and ambulance body styles.

The new Eco generates maximum output of 80.76 PS and peak torque of 104.5 Nm from petrol. While from CNG it comes down to 71.65 PS and maximum torque of 95 Nm.

For the Tour variant, the company claims 20.2 km/l for gasoline trim and 27.05 km/kg for CNG. At the same time, the mileage for the passenger trim drops to 19.7 km/l for petrol and 26.78 km/kg for CNG.

The company is now offering 11 safety features in the Eco, which meets all the existing and some upcoming safety regulations.

These include reverse parking sensor, engine immobilizer, child lock for doors, seat belt reminder, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags.

Although creature comfort features are not a feature of the Eco, Maruti has made the new Eco a bit more modern with this update.

The Eco now gets a new steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. Both units have been taken by the company from its S-Presso and Celerio. The old sliding AC control has also been replaced with a new rotary unit.
