New MG Hector Blackstorm Edition: Sleek Design, Powerful Engines

MG Hector: Morris Garages (MG Motor) has today officially launched the new Blackstorm edition of its popular SUV Hector in the Indian market. This new Hector Blackstorm edition is available for sale in all three seat configurations – 5-seater, 6-seater and 7-seater. The company has introduced this SUV in different variants.

Talking about design, then the company has introduced the top Sharp Pro variant of Hector Blackstorm with both petrol and diesel engine options. Apart from this, it comes in both Hector and Hector Plus trims.

Like its other Blackstorm editions, the company has also launched Hector with an all-black exterior paint scheme. Red accents and red brake calipers have also been given on the bumper of the SUV.

The company has also tried its best to make the cabin of the SUV premium. It has been decorated with sangria and black theme.

Talking about features, then a package of 14-inch portrait style touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, rear AC vents, power driving seat, level-2 advanced driving assistance system (ADAS), digital instrument cluster and full LED lights is being given.

MG Hector Blackstorm Engine

Talking about engine, then the company has introduced Hector and Hector Plus Blackstorm Edition with 1.5 liter petrol and 2.0 liter diesel engines. Its petrol engine generates 141bhp power and 250Nm torque.

It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT. Apart from this, the diesel engine generates 168bhp power and 350Nm torque. This engine is available only in 6-speed manual transmission.
