Amidst the growing popularity of electric cars in India, Chinese automobile company BYD has launched a new version of its popular model Atto 3. The company has introduced this updated model in the Indian market on the occasion of its first anniversary. The special thing is that the first 3,000 customers will get a chance to buy it at the old ex-showroom price.

What’s new in the upgraded Atto 3

The company has made many important changes in the new model of BYD Atto 3, making it even more premium and advanced. This SUV will now get a new black interior, which has ventilated driver and front passenger seats. This will give a more comfortable experience to those sitting inside the car.

Apart from this, Atto 3 now comes with advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery. This battery is 6 times lighter than conventional batteries and gives 5 times better self-discharge performance. The company claims that this battery can last up to 15 years, so that customers will not need to replace the battery for a long time.

Offer at old price for first 3,000 customers

BYD has introduced a special offer on the occasion of its first anniversary. Under this, the first 3,000 customers of Atto 3 MY2025 can buy it at the old ex-showroom price. This offer is for a limited time and its booking has started with a token amount of Rs 30,000.

The price of this electric SUV varies according to the variant. This car is available in the price range of Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 33.99 lakh. With the new update, this car can attract more customers.

Different variants of Atto 3 and their range

BYD Atto 3 is available in three variants, which have different battery capacity and range. The first variant is Dynamic, which has been priced at Rs 24.99 lakh ex-showroom. It has a 49.92kWh battery, which gives it a range of 468km (ARAI certified) and 410km (NEDC certified) on a single charge.

The second variant is Premium, which is priced at Rs 29.85 lakh ex-showroom. It has a 60.48kWh battery, which gives a range of 521km (ARAI certified) and 480km (NEDC certified) on a single charge. The third and most expensive variant is Superior, which has been priced at Rs 33.99 lakh ex-showroom. It also has a 60.48kWh battery, and its range is also the same as the Premium variant.

BYD Atto 3 delivery and market competition

BYD has started the delivery of Atto 3 in India. So far more than 3,100 units of this electric car have been sold, and with the new update, its sales are expected to increase further. In the Indian market, Atto 3 will compete directly with vehicles like MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. However, its greater range, premium features and advanced battery technology make it a better option.
