Tat Curve EV: Tata Motors has officially launched its new electric car Tata Curvv EV in India. The company has fixed its starting price at Rs 17.49 lakh. Which goes up to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. Booking of Tata Curvv EV will start from August 12. The company has said that its test drive will be started from August 14, 2024.

Color Options

The Tata Curve EV will be available in five color options. These include colors like Virtual Sunrise, Pure Gray, Pristine White, Flame and Empowered Oxide

Charging Time

Tata claims that the Curve EV will be able to charge enough to cover a distance of 150 km in 15 minutes. The Curve EV also comes with four-stage regenerative braking to optimize range.

Speed

Tata claims that the Curve EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.6 seconds. And its top speed can be 160 kmph. In addition, the company said that the Curve EV has 25-30 percent better on-the-move acceleration than its competitors.

Interior and Features

Tata Motors has garnered a lot of attention for offering premium features in its modern cars. The Curve EV also follows the same path. Like the company’s other EV product Nexon EV, the Curve EV has a multifunction steering wheel with an illuminated brand logo in the center. However, the steering wheel has a distinctive design. The Tata Curve EV will be available in five modes – Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished and Empowered.

The 12.3-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, combined with an all-digital instrument cluster with JBL sound system and 9 speakers and a layered dashboard enhance the premium look inside the cabin. The infotainment system gets Tata’s Arcade.EV. It allows passengers to access multiple OTT platforms such as Hotstar, Prime Video and YouTube. The Tata Curve EV gets Spotify, Park+, Audible and Amazon Music at the front. The EV gets a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster at the front.
