Ola Electric is going to launch the much-awaited electric motorcycle soon. This information has been shared by Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal himself. On the social media platform X, Aggarwal posted updates from his visit to Ola’s manufacturing facility, including the Future factory, where the motorcycle will be produced. The company is also preparing for commercial battery production. This announcement comes at a time when Ola is facing a lot of scrutiny over its after-sales service.

Kunal Kamra’s Social Media Criticism

Comedian Kunal Kamra recently criticized Ola Electric’s customer service on social media. He shared customer complaints and mocked Bhavish Aggarwal’s handling of issues, including a deepfake video. Aggarwal responded by accusing Kamra of defamation and challenging him to visit a service centre. This sparked a heated debate, with many social media users siding with Kamra.

Ola Electric’s Strong Registration Growth

Ola Electric’s vehicle registrations increased by 74% year-on-year, reaching 41,605 units in October 2024. The company also sold over 50,000 units during the month. To improve service, Ola aims to double its company-owned service centres to 1,000 by December 2024 and add 10,000 sales and service partners by 2025.
