Ola Gen 3: Ola Electric has broadened its vehicle lineup today, Friday, January 31, by introducing an impressive array of third-generation electric scooters, known as the Ola Gen-3 range. This new collection features the S1 X, S1 X Plus, S1 Pro, and S1 Pro + models.
Battery capacities varying from 2 kW to 5.3 kW
Customers will have the option to purchase these electric scooters with battery capacities varying from 2 kW to 5.3 kW. The company has incorporated ‘Break by Wire’ technology in these Gen 3 scooters, significantly reducing the amount of wiring required. Additionally, this range is equipped with Ola’s latest EV operating system, ‘MoveOS 5’, and offers an IDC range of up to 320 km.
Battery options according to variants
The S1 Pro is available in two variants: the first variant is fitted with a 3 kWh battery, while the second variant features a 4 kWh battery. The S1 Pro + offers options for both 4 kWh and 5.3 kWh battery packs. Ola asserts that the S1 Pro + can achieve a range of 320 km and a maximum speed of 141 km/h. Furthermore, the S1 X provides choices of 2, 3, and 4 kWh battery packs, whereas the S1 X + is available solely with a 4 kWh battery pack.
