Hyundai has unveiled its new Palisade flagship SUV. The company has revealed the details of its new SUV for the Korean market. The company is going to introduce it globally in early 2025. Let us know what features the new Hyundai Palisade has brought and when it will be launched in India.

New Hyundai Palisade: Exterior

The design of the new Palisade is much better than the current model. It has a boxy look with rounded corners and ample chrome on the exterior. Its headlamps are placed vertically on either side of the grille and have been given a slatted design. The front bumper has two horizontal slats and a U-shaped chin. Its clamshell bonnet has a unique look, with rectangular-shaped indents.

The tail-lamps given in it are in vertical form and have 6 light slats. When viewed from the rear, it looks quite similar to the Range Rover. It gets a new and simple design with Hyundai branding on the rear bumper and tailgate, centrally-mounted license place housing, and some chrome bits.

New Hyundai Palisade: Interior

The new Palisade gets a beige-themed cabin. Its steering wheel looks like a Range Rover, which comes with many control features. The AC vents fitted in it are oval-shaped. It has a climate control system, an armrest with two separate openings in the center console, and a wireless charging slot with a cubby hole. The central console can be moved upwards and converted into a middle seat for the front row, due to which this SUV becomes a nine-seater.

New Hyundai Palisade: Powertrain

The new Palisade will be offered with the new Theta series of petrol-hybrid engines. It can get a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which will be connected to an electric motor. The new engine will replace the pure-petrol Lambda series engine used in the current Palisade.

When will it be launched in India

The information about the new Palisade is for sale in Hyundai’s home market in South Korea. The rest of its information will be revealed when it is introduced in the global market in early 2025. The carmaker plans to start offering hybrid powertrains for its SUVs and sedans in India by 2027, including the Creta, Alcazar, Verna, and Tucson. However, the new Palisade was being tested for launch in India. Now it remains to be seen when it will be launched in the Indian market.
