Last year, in November 2024, the new-generation Duster was spotted during road tests in India. The new model was expected to be introduced in India in 2025. However, new reports suggest that its launch has been rescheduled for 2026.

Recently, Renault India Managing Director, Venkatram Mamillapalle spoke about the company’s plans for 2025. While the new-generation Duster launch was not specifically discussed, other information shared by Venkatram gave some strong hints.

One of the major developments in 2025 will be the introduction of the next-generation Triber and Kiger in India. Together, these two cars are contributing to about 80% of the company’s total sales. The new generation model is expected to have sharp styling and new features to improve its VFM positioning.

He added that an all-new SUV will be launched in 2026. This is likely to be the new Gen Duster, which is available for sale in several international markets. The India-spec model may have some differences in the equipment list and powertrain options.

New Renault Duster Exterior

The exterior of the new Renault Duster features several changes. In particular, its front looks completely different. It has a grille with Renault badging. It replaces the traditional rhombus symbol. Despite these cosmetic changes, the dimensions of the Duster look strong. Its length is 4343mm and the wheelbase is 2657mm.

Talking about its interior, the 2025 Renault Duster closely resembles its Romanian counterpart, the Dacia Duster. Only the steering wheel differentiates the two.

The high trim has an advanced 7-inch virtual dashboard and a 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia system, which rises above the front panel. The tablet and center console enhance the driver-centric driving experience.

New Renault Duster Engines

The 2025 Renault Duster in the Turkish market will be equipped with a variety of engine options to meet a variety of needs. It has a three-cylinder 1.0 TCe engine, which provides 100 hp and runs on gasoline. In addition, there will be a mild-hybrid version with a 1.2 TCe gasoline turbo 3-cylinder engine, which generates 130 horsepower.

It will be available with a 48-volt starter generator, which will exclusively offer all-wheel drive. The top of the range will be the E-Tech Hybrid variant, which consists of a four-cylinder 1.6 engine and an electric motor, it will output 140 hp.
