Renault Duster was once one of the most popular cars in the Indian market. However, the company stopped the production of this SUV due to emission norms and a decline in sales. However, Renault is once again planning to launch this vehicle in India. If the latest report is to be believed, Duster can be introduced this year.

The Renault Duster is the most awaited SUV of the company. This 7-seater car has been spotted several times during testing. However, there is no official information yet about the name of the new Gen Duster. In the global market, this car is sold as Renault Bicester. Let’s take a look at the design and possible features of this SUV.

New Gen Renault Duster Design

The front look of the new Duster will be completely different from the old model. In the viral pictures, new alloy wheels and double-stack grille can be seen in the new Gen Duster with sleek headlamps. However, there is no possibility of much change in the dimensions of Duster. Its length is 4343mm and its wheelbase is 2657mm.

Interior and Features

As far as the interior of Duster is concerned, it is likely to be shared with Dacia. It can be given a dual screen setup, touchscreen multimedia system, three-spoke steering wheel, grey and black cabin, and stacked center console.

The new Gen Duster will come with premium features. It is likely to get a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, driver-inclined touchscreen infotainment panel with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leatherette ventilated seats, powered driver seat, dual-zone climate control, 6 airbags, and ADAS safety suite.

The Duster sold in the global market has been built on the CMF-B LS platform. Vehicles built on this platform are more economical than the regular CMF-B. It will be interesting to see at what price Renault launches the new Gen Duster in India.

Possible Powertrain

The Renault Duster SUV is available in multiple powertrain options in the global market. However, in India, it is likely to be launched with a turbo petrol engine. It can be given a 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit and another 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine.
