Royal Enfield Electric: Almost all two-wheeler manufacturing companies are bringing their electric vehicles. Many companies have already launched their electric bikes or scooters, while many are planning to launch them. Now Royal Enfield has also joined this race. The design of a Royal Enfield bike has been revealed, which is being called the upcoming electric bike of this company.

Talking about its design, then it will have the form factor of a classically styled bobber. Which can have a raked-out front end, scooped-out solo saddle and open, sloping rear fender. The Royal Enfield electric bike will have a system to carry a pillion. Its chassis design will be completely unique.
The looping frame on the ‘fuel tank’ area can be quite different from production motorcycles. It will look quite similar to the classic motorcycles of a century ago.

Talking about looks, then the battery pack in this electric bike can be used as a frame. Both the battery cover and the motor can be fitted around it. This will be similar to what Harley-Davidson’s electric bike maker Livewire has done with its S2 model. The belt drive in the bike can be on the right side of the bike and it will have disc brakes on both sides.

Talking about features, then Up-front there is a circular headlamp which will use LED units. There is a circular instrument cluster . There is a teardrop fuel tank below which the battery pack is positioned. There is a single seat which gives the motorcycle a bobber-like look.
And the rear, mudguard is quite similar to the one found on the Classic 350. There are circular turn indicators and the tail lamp is also expected to be a circular unit. There are also alloy wheels which means tubeless tyres.

Talking about battery, then the size of the battery pack is not known but we are expecting to return a decent figure of claimed riding range. The electric motor is also expected to be quite powerful and will transfer the power to the rear wheel using a belt drive.

Talking about price, then the electric bike is expected to debut sometime around 2024-25. Its expected price is around Rs. 2.50 lakhs
