Skoda’s new Elroq EV has been given a powerful battery pack that gives it a range of up to 560 km. Skoda is going to start selling it in the European market in the first quarter of this year. An all-wheel-drive version will be introduced soon after, and customers will also get a choice of three battery packs. The entry-level 50 model of the Skoda Elroq gets an output of 125 kW. After this, the Elroq 85X also gets an electric motor on the front axle, which makes this car all-wheel drive.

Fast charging of Skoda Elroq

The company has claimed that the new Skoda Elroq 85 has a range of up to 560 km on a full charge. It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes with the help of a 175 kW DC fast charger. The company has provided an 82 kWh battery pack with it, which makes the Elroq 85 and 85X very fast. Its low-power battery pack takes only 25 minutes to charge from 10-80 percent. It could cost up to 33,000 Euros in Europe, which is approximately ₹30 lakh in Indian currency.
