Skoda has announced their new car arrival, which creates buzz around social media platforms. Skoda unveiled their another midsize SUV in their arsenal, which is named Skoda Kylaq. This car has a powerful engine with lots of features for entertainment and safety. The budget of the car is also below 10 lakhs.
Skoda Kylaq engine
Powering the new Kylaq is a 1-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. The engine is available in two transmissions – a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic with paddle shifters. According to Skoda, the Kylac manual model accelerates from 0 – 100 kmph in 10.5 seconds.

Skoda Auto has embarked on a new journey in the Indian market with the Kylaq and entered the segment that is one of the fastest growing. At present, SUVs smaller than 4 meters have the highest sales. Skoda Auto India, which was active in the midsize SUV segment through the Kushaq and the midsize sedan through the Slavia, is now entering the sub-4m compact SUV segment through the Kaylaq and the company has given a lot of emphasis on localization this time, with an emphasis on global engineering as well as Indian touch and feel.
Skoda Kylaq features
The Kylaq gets a 10.1-inch infotainment system with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a single-panel sunroof, a class-first six-way adjustable driver and passenger seat with ventilation function. More than 25 active and passive safety features are standard in Kylaq. Which includes six airbags, traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, brake disc wiping, roll over protection, motor slip regulation, electronic differential lock, passenger airbag de-activation, multi collision braking and ISOFIX seats and more.
Skoda Kylaq Price
Only the base variant of Kylaq has been announced. It is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the biggest rival of the Skoda Kylaq, is also available with a petrol engine only. The base LXI variant of the Brezza SUV is priced at Rs 8.34 lakh (ex-showroom), which is about Rs 45,000 more than the Kylaq.
