Skoda Superb Sales Collapse: Zero Units Sold Amidst Overall Sales Decline

Skoda Superb: Skoda has released the breakup data of its July 2023 sales. The company is selling a total of 4 models in the Indian market. This includes 2 SUVs and 2 sedans. Their names are Kodiaq, Kushak, Slavia and Superb. The company sold a total of 2,103 vehicles last month. This is also the weakest sales of the company so far this year. Earlier in June, it had sold 2,566 units. The performance of Kushak and Slavia is slightly better for the company. While Kodia is getting fewer customers, the work of Superb is almost over in the Indian market.

Skoda July Sales

Talking about Skoda’s July sales, 240 units of Kodiaq, 1,070 units of Kushak, 793 units of Slavia and not a single unit of Superb were sold. In this way, a total of 2,103 units of these 3 cars were sold. The company’s sales have gone down significantly compared to June.

The most surprising figures for the company have been those of Superb. Actually, the company launched the new model of Superb in March. Even after this, it has failed to attract customers. The company has launched it in only a single variant.

Skoda Superb Design

Talking about the design, then this sedan features the signature Skoda radiator grille with chrome surround, lower air dam on the front bumper, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps with cornering function, LED taillamps with crystal element and rear fog lights. It also gets freshly designed 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The company has not made any changes in the silhouette of the model.

Talking about the features, then it gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with mobile connectivity, powered and ventilated front seats, massage function for the driver seat, leather wrapped gear knob and three-zone climate control. Apart from this, it gets a virtual cockpit, 12-speaker Canton audio system and roll-up sun visors for the rear window and windscreen.

Talking about safety, it has ABS, hill brake assist, hill hold control, active TPMS, electronic parking brake with auto hold, 360-degree camera, park assist and 9 airbags. The special thing is that this sedan had earlier also received 5-star safety rating in NCAP crash test.

Skoda Superb Engine

Talking about the engine of Skoda Superb, it gets a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, TSI gasoline motor, which produces 187bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. At present, no information has been revealed about its mileage. Its details will be revealed after testing.
