New Edition Celerio: Many companies are presenting their cars at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2024. Among these companies, Suzuki’s models are succeeding in attracting people’s attention. Earlier, the company had introduced its popular hatchback Swift Classic 69. So now the company has unveiled the next generation model of its affordable and popular hatchback Celerio.

This special edition of Celerio is based on the second generation model sold in Thailand. In India, Celerio has been upgraded to the third generation model. The price of Celerio in India starts at Rs 5.37 lakh.

Colour of New Edition Celerio

Talking about color, then the new generation Celerio has a muscular SUV-like profile. It has a very beautiful looking dual color of blue and white. The bottom of the car has blue color and the bonnet, pillars, roof, ORVMs and tailgate have white color. The front bumper, side skirting and rear bumper also have white shade. Even the wheel covers have been given in white color to give contrast to the tires.

 Design and Specification of New Edition Celerio

Talking about Design and Specification, then to make the car more beautiful, the door handles and boot handle have been given a light yellow color shade. The company has taken the color theme from the taxis of Thailand, where they run in dual shade. Stickers of ‘Indy 2017’ and ‘Suzuki Indy Make a Difference’ are also pasted on the sides of this special edition of Celerio. There is a Suzuki showroom in Bangkok named Suzuki Indy. There are no changes in the grill and lighting setup of the car.

Features of New Edition Celerio

Talking about the Features of the car, it has seats with blue and white combination like the actors. Blue accents have been used on its AC vents, center console and gearbox. It has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment. Other features include a hybrid instrument cluster, seat slide and recline function and tilt-adjustable steering wheel.

Engine of New Edition Celerio

Talking about engine, then the second gen Celerio gets a 998cc, K10B petrol engine. It gives 68 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque. Whereas, in India, the third gen Maruti Celerio K10C gets a 998cc engine. It generates 66.62 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque. Transmission options include 5MT and auto gear shift. In India, Celerio is also available in CNG. Its manual variant has a mileage of 26.68 kmpl and CNG mileage is 34.43 kmkg.
