Suzuki GSX-8R: Suzuki Motorcycle India has presented a glimpse of the GSX-8R motorcycle at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024. This has increased the excitement among the people about its launch. Suzuki GSX-8R has been seen with Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE. Let’s know about it.
Suzuki GSX-8R Design
Talking about design, then the GSX-8R looks sharp with vertically-stacked headlamps separating the front cowl which is a part of the large fairing. The rearview mirrors are integrated into the fairing whereas, the GSX-8R gets distinctive twin LED DRLs. While the rear gets a new two-piece taillight as compared to the single unit of the GSX-8S.
Suzuki GSX-8R Features
Talking about features, then it has features like dual-channel ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes, an easy start system and low rpm assist. To complete the suspension setup, the bike has USD forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Suzuki GSX-8R Engine
Talking about engine, then it is powered by a 776cc liquid-cooled DOHC twin-cylinder engine. It produces 82 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of peak torque at 6,800 rpm. This engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and gets a bi-directional quickshifter.
Suzuki GSX-8R Launch
Talking about launch, then the company has not officially given information about its launch. But it is expected that the GSX 8R can be introduced in India soon. The upcoming motorcycle will face tough competition from the Yamaha R7.
Suzuki GSX-8R Price
Talking about price, then Suzuki GSX-8R is expected to launch in India in September 2024 in the expected price range of ₹ 11,00,000 to ₹ 12,00,000.
