Tata Altroz: Tata Motors introduced the Altroz Racer as the sportiest version of the Altroz hatchback at the Auto Expo 2023 last year. It was re-introduced with a slightly different look at this year’s India Mobility Show, but Tata did not share any details of its launch. However, it has now been learned that the sporty Altroz will be available for sale in the coming weeks.
Tata Altroz Features
Talking about features, then the Altroz Racer will get the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen found on the new Tata SUV. It is also expected to get segment-first ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, head-up display and voice-assisted sunroof. Some of these features may also be offered on the regular Altroz later. Talking about cosmetics, the dashboard is expected to get new leatherette upholstery with contrast stitching and colored.
Tata Altroz Engine
Talking about engine, then it has 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine, which is similar to the Altroz iTurbo. However, it generates 120hp power and 170Nm torque, which is 10hp and 30Nm more than the iTurbo. This output is similar to the tune of the Nexon SUV. The Altroz Racer can be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox instead of the 5-speed manual found in the iTurbo.
Tata Altroz Price
Talking about price, then Tata Altroz price starts at ₹ 6.65 Lakh and top model price goes upto ₹ 11.35 Lakh. Altroz is offered in 40 variants – the base model of Altroz is XE and the top model Tata Altroz XZ Plus S LUX Dark Edition Diesel.
