Tata Motors has introduced an updated version of its new Generation-3 EV concept car “Avinya X” at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. This concept was first showcased in 2022, but this time it has been shown with a more modern look and advanced features. Although this car will not go into production, it definitely shows the vision of Tata Motors’ future electric vehicles. This new Avinya concept is based on JLR’s EMA platform, which also supports the recently launched Jaguar Type 00 concept. Let’s take a look at the features and design of this new Avinya X concept.

Tata Avinya X Concept Exterior
This time a big change has been seen in the design of the Tata Avinya X Concept.
- The T-shaped LED DRLs and blank-off grille have been retained, but its body design has been made more muscular and aggressive.
- The sleek LED headlights give the car a modern and futuristic look.
- The camera-based ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors) have been retained, making it look like a car with advanced technology.
- The “Avinya” badging on the front doors and the T-shaped LED taillights make it even more attractive.
Tata Avinya X Concept Interior
Its interior design has been kept very clean and minimalistic.
- The dual-tone cabin theme and luxury seats give it a premium feel.
- The touch-enabled buttons and control panel give it a completely modern look.
- The two-spoke steering wheel has Avinya badging and touch controls.
- The T-shaped lighting elements give it a distinct identity.
- The focus is on voice-based control instead of screens, which will give users a smooth experience without any distraction.
Tata Avinya X Concept Features and Safety
The EVs based on this concept can get powerful features like other production models of Tata.
- Dual 12.3-inch displays – one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system.
- Panoramic sunroof that makes the cabin more premium.
- Wireless phone charger and multi-zone auto climate control.
- EV-specific advanced features, such as V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) charging technology.
Advanced safety features
- At least 6 airbags (standard)
- 360-degree camera
- ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features, such as adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist.
Tata claims that this platform is designed to score a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test.
Tata Avinya X Concept Powertrain and Battery
This concept car is built on Tata’s new EV architecture, which will have the option of a larger battery pack.
- It is expected to have a range of more than 500 km.
- Scalable platform, which means it can be customized with different battery pack options.
- Fast charging technology, which will allow the battery to be charged in minutes.

Tata Avinya X Concept Launch Details
This is a concept model, so it is not certain that it will go into production. But Tata may launch EVs based on it by 2026.
