Tata Curve ICE: Tata Motors recently launched its all-electric Curve EV in India. Now the company has announced that the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the Curve will be launched in the market on September 2.

Talking about its engine, the Tata Curve ICE version will get three powerful engine options. The base variant will have a 1.2-litre petrol engine that will generate 118 bhp and 170 nm of torque. Along with this, a 1.5-litre turbodiesel engine will be available which will give 115 bhp and 260 nm of torque..

Apart from this, Curve will also get Tata’s new Hyperion 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo petrol engine which will generate 125 bhp and 225 nm of torque. Gearbox options for this car will include 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) which make it better for all types of driving.

Features of Tata Curve ICE

The Tata Curve ICE version will also be great in terms of features. It will get many segment-first features like 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and 9-speaker JBL music system. Apart from this, this car will also get voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 4-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo, climate control, and powered tailgate with gesture control.

Wireless charger, in-built air purifier, ventilated front seats, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, and 360-degree surround-view system will also be provided. For safety, the Curve will get six airbags as standard while safety hardware like disc brakes on all four wheels, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, electronic parking brake, and Level 2 ADAS will also be available.

Variants and price of Tata Curve ICE

The Tata Curvv ICE will be available in five variants – Smart, Smart Plus, Pure, Creative, and Creative Plus. Talking about its price, it can be priced between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 18 lakh which makes it a strong competitor in the mid-range SUV segment.
