The country’s leading carmaker Tata Motors is busy expanding its CNG portfolio. After Maruti, only Tata Motors is the second company in India to have the most CNG models. The company is constantly working on it to give better models to the customers.
According to reports, Tata is launching a CNG model of the first coupe SUV Curvv launched this year. Curvv CNG is expected to be launched in the Indian market later this year.
What will be the change in the design
No changes have been made in the design of Tata Curvv CNG. Tata Curvv CNG is expected to be launched in the Indian market this air end or next year. Also, the price of this car can be Rs 10 lakh.
Tata Curvv CNG is also powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 99 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. However, some changes can be made in the power and torque output with the CNG kit. The same engine also powers the Nexon CNG. The price of Tata Nexon CNG starts at Rs 8.99 lakh and the top-spec variant is priced at Rs 14.59 lakh.
Two small CNG tanks
The Tata Curvv CNG has two CNG tanks of 30-30 (60 liters). Even after the CNG tank, there will be no reduction in its boot space. Other cars with Tata’s twin CNG cylinder technology do not have space problems. Interestingly, this is India’s first CNG car equipped with a CNG kit with a turbo-petrol engine.
Full safety with 6 airbags
The Tata Curvv CNG will have no shortage of safety features. This car has already received a 5-star rating in the crash test. It includes 6 airbags, an anti-lock braking system, EPS, brake assist, 3-point seat belts and disc brakes.
JBL sound system with 9 speakers
For the convenience of customers, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system can be found in Tata Curve. For music lovers, the car will have 9 speakers and a JBL voice assist system.
