Tata Curvv ice: Tata Motors has launched its much-awaited CURVV ICE car. The company has fixed the ex-showroom price of this car at Rs 10 lakh, which goes up to Rs 17.7 lakh. The company says that its body style makes it a special offering. The price, powertrain options and multiple variants of Curvv will ensure that it will compete with all the competitors in the midsize SUV segment.

Price and variants

Tata Motors has introduced CURVV in a total of eight variants. The names of these variants are Smart, Pure +, Pure + S, Creative, Creative S, Creative + S, Accomplished S and Accomplished + A. The price of the entry-level CURVV petrol variant starts at Rs 10 lakh, while the price of the diesel version starts at Rs 11.5 lakh. The direct-injection turbo-petrol engine of CURVV starts from the Creative S variant, which is priced at Rs 14 lakh ex-showroom.

Tata has not yet revealed the full price list for the CURVV. The prices of all the automatic variants are yet to be announced by the company. entry-level petrol-DCT edition of this car starts at Rs 12.5 lakh. while the entry-level diesel-DCT starts at Rs 14 lakh. For the 125hp turbo-petrol engine with dual-clutch auto. prices start at Rs 16.4 lakh. These prices are valid for bookings made before October 31. 2024.

Tata Curvv: Powertrain

This new car from Tata is based on the Atlas platform. The Curvv comes with three engine options – the first engine produces 120hp of power and 170Nm of torque. The second engine is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol, it produces 118hp of power. There is a 1.5-litre diesel unit and Tata’s new 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol ‘Hyperion’ engine, which produces 125hp of power and 225Nm of torque. All three engines come with a 6-speed manual as standard as well as a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option. This makes it the only mass-market diesel car in India to offer a dual-clutch auto.
