After Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Motors’ popular SUV Harrier EV is also going to be launched for customers in the Indian market soon. Tata Motors currently has a very strong hold in the electric segment as the company has electric cars available in every price segment in India. The company’s EV lineup includes vehicles like Tiago EV, Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Curvv EV, but the question here is when will the electric avatar of Harrier be launched.
A recent report has revealed that the Tata Harrier EV can be launched in March 2025. A glimpse of the production model of this electric SUV can be seen at Auto Expo 2025.
Tata Harrier EV: Features
The electric avatar of Harrier can be given a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system inside. Apart from this, front ventilated seats and ambient lighting can be given.
Battery and driving range
Harrier EV can be given a dual electric motor and this SUV can be launched with 60kWh and 80kWh battery options. Front wheel drive option will be available in the standard variant and can be launched with a single motor setup, currently, no information has been revealed about the driving range of this variant.
It is expected that with this electric SUV of Tata Motors, you can get a driving range of up to 400 km on a single charge. At the same time, regarding the driving range of Hyundai’s first electric SUV Creta, which will be launched in January, the company has claimed that this car can run up to 473 km on a single charge.
Tata Harrier EV Price (Expected)
Talking about the price of the electric avatar of Tata Harrier, the starting price of this car can be around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). This car will give tough competition to BYD Atto 3 and Mahindra XEV 9e.
